1938 and 1941 Deer Pictures
Most likely, these are original lithographs made by Buff from artwork created for the childrens book "Dash and Dart" written by his wife Mary and illustrated by him (the book was originally published in the early 1940's).

1938 and 1941 deer pictures by Buff
I have inherited two pictures: Forest Folk dated 1938, and Babes in Woods dated 1941. They were purchased in the early 1940's at Yosemite National Park. As they are behind glass, I can't tell whether they are originals or signed prints. Would like to know more about them. This is not for purposes of selling them as I have enjoyed them since I was a child. I am also an artist. Maybe you are one of my influences in that way.
