Apple Orchard My family has a painting of R Miller's titles the "Apple Orchard". It is very beautiful and stongly resembles my mother.

Zilpha and John Caton Requesting info on whereabout of painting. The female is my late mother, Zilpha Nelson of Provincetown, MA. The clam diggers name is John Caton, also of Provincetown. I have the news article, dtd. 1/7/39, re: exhibit in Illinois. Thank you.

Miller was my famous uncle Richard E. Miller was my Uncle. He painted in Paris around the turn of the century. He was awarded membership in the French National Academy for his impressionist artworks. He also painted some famous murals in the Missouri State Capital in Jefferson City, Mo.

Discussions 1/05/05 Response: Jean, no this is not the same Richard Miller. look the name up and you will see a few otheres, but this Richard E. Miller died in St Augustine FL in 1943.
