William Robinsin Leigh and Panoramas I am writing the first book about rotunda panoramas from the American point of view. These were the biggest paintings in the world, 50x400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16 sided polygons. William Robinson Leigh was a panoramist in Europe, and I seek further information.

William Leigh I have what I believe is a unique gouache on paper mounted on board piece by William Leigh. The paper has a wood grain look to it which isn't painted on rather it looks as if it was is a print of wood grain with a painting of a tomohawk as well as other Indian/western symbols painted on this wood grain print mounted on a board. It is dated 1950. Does anyone have a clue of what William Leigh was doing at this time. Artwork wise. I am trying to trace the piece possibly back to a publication. the year is 1950. Thank You

William Robinson Leigh On 5/14/2004 there was an inquiry from Marsha Wood and on 5/13/2004 there was an inquiry from Joy Bond. I printed the messages but the email addresses were not printed. Now these messages have been removed. If Marsha or Joy still wish the information, please email us at lyndunham@aol.com and we will respond.
