2 Alan Alexander oils
I have 2 Large Alan Alexander original oils. One is The Hunt [[][[]]1980] and the other is Rope Tricks [[][[]]1981]. I bought these in an estate sale about 15 years ago. They hang in my den with other westerns. I see them everyday. yayajackblack@aol.com

2 Alen Alexander Prints
In 1981 I did a task for my employer and when he asked what I would like besides cash compensation I ask for 2 prints that he had. He gave these to me and I had them matted and framed. I have since remodled my condo and the 1 thing that the interior designer had to do was to incorporate these 2 prints into the new decor. They are now the main focal point in my new home. Thanks for all the joy I have recived from these 2 prints.

not sure
I have 2 water colors that are signed Alan Alexander
the 1st being a white horse in a field and the second a mare with her foal. It looks like his style and I aquired the paintings in Arizona which I thought ironic but the paintings are not signed so I'm just wondering if these sound familiar to anyone.. It looks like his style but they are water colors? Anyone??

Alan created beautiful works of art, any subject, any media, and donated ten years of teaching. The nudes were a specialty of his.
Also portraits. I am surprised that he is called a landscape artist. The monocolor Indian head has turned out to be rare! He did only a few, about a dozen. I remember yours as stunning. I have a nude done in this manner.

Alan Alexander Paintings
I have 4 different original pieces of Alan's work. These paintings have been enjoyed for many years. I grew up with these paintings, as well as a few of his beautiful nudes. My parents will be sad to hear of his passing. He was an extremely talented man. Thank you! Stephanie

Alexander Painting
I have an 18X24 Indian head painting done in a monocolor, (umber, brown) with the torso from the neck down left purposely unfinished. I don't know if it represents a real person or not. Did Alan have a portfolio of all of his works which might mention this work? It was done in 1979. He had several of this type on display at the time and I was struck by the face in this work. John

spell binding
I have one of Mr. Alexander's paintings of a nude, painted in 1980, which is apparently rare, since he was known for his lancscapes. She is very beautiful and will captivate the viewer. I would love to hear from others who have seen his fine work or could add something to the history of this piece. Does anyone know more about this artist, his background or who this subject might have been? Allen
