similarities
Braun was a contemporary of my great uncle Robert Alexander Graham -- and their bios have similarities. Would you happen to know if they were acquainted? Uncle Rob, a native of Iowa, studied in NYC and Paris, was a member of the Salamagundi Club; later had a studio in Denver and in his late life, in San Francisco. Both artists -- beautiful landscapes.

Braun
I have an original Braun Indian painting but I don't know which Braun. Apparently the artist was commissioned by the American govt at the time to pain the indian chiefs. The prime minister at the time was Gough Whitlam and he was given one of these paintings as a gift and my father in law brought one when he was visiting America in the 70's. Can you give me any more information?? Thankyou.

My mother believes she has an orignal Braun. She says it is signe M. Braun. Is that how he signed his paintings?
