Dong Kingman Oil
I bought this oil painting in the summer of 1980 from a giftshop run by asians in Newbury Pk, Calif. The "Kingman" signature in the lower left corner is very similiar to the third signature example found in AskART and very similar to signatures I saw on some of his artwork in Auction. However, the characters are not added.
The oil painting is of two horses standing in pools of water made by a waterfall. They are in the forest and the overall feel of the painting is at night with a full moon illuminating the waterfall and white horses.
Monocromatic in hues of blues, purples, and greens, with the ever so slight addition of some orange in only one area of the painting.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Charlene

Dong Kingman
I recently found a print/copy (not sure which) of a Kingman watercolor of what appears to be a Asian Temple on the banks of a river or lake. There are water fowl and water plants on the surface. It is 11 X 9 inches. It is only signed "Kingman" followed by what appears to be Chinese lettering. Can anyone tell me about this watercolor? Thank you for your efforts. Dave

German Short hair pointer and birds
I obtain painting back in the 1970's in Hong Kong of a german short hair pointer, pointing at two birds in forest?bushes? The dog is in brown and white color and the back ground is in the earthy golden tones. Would appreciated any information about the artist, or the painting. It was signed KINGMAN. King man is signed in block lettering.

trying to figure out what kingman made the oilpainting that was given to me
its oil,farm house with snow,some older looking trees,fence around front of house.its in mint shape,frame is gold with light backing. were do i go to find out how old it is. says kingman on rt bottom corner thnxs kathy

jazz concert in the park by dong kingman
I found this water color at a thrift store. Tried to find info but did not find any, could anybody tell me something about it? It has Dong Kingman printed in the right hand corner, but also in pen it looks like it says kingman, would like to know if that was one of his ways of signing.
Would appreciate any info.

Dong Kingman gave my wife and me one of his pictures signed by him in 1970 which we still hang on our wall.
We've always loved his paintings and still treasure what he gave us.
