I am so excited that there are others that enjoy this wonderful artist! She is my husbands great aunt and we are fortunate to own several of her pieces. We have examples of her etchings, water colors, and oil portraits. Eleanora led a life as colorful as her work and I am so glad you all enjoy her art!

Thrift store find
Just today, I purchased what I thought at first glance to be a drawing, then realized to be an etching.
I knew it was a treasure the first moment I caught sight of it. Eleanora Kissel was unknown to me until earlier today and more so just a few moments ago. It is hard to find anything to buy for the price I paid for this wonderful Adobe etching. I am amazed and very excited. It is pencil signed lower right, no date although there might be one should I decided to take the framing apart.
I'd love to learn more about her and will continue my search.

I have 2 of her paintings and an etching.
There are a few people who still remember her.
