Alex Vago I recently purchased 3 oil painting signed Alex Vago. Two are 5"x5", one is landscrape and other small one is a pasture scene with cows. The third is also a pasture scene with cows but larger. I too would like additional information about the artist and if his work is of much value value.

Two Vago's???? There is information on this site for Sandor Vago, known for portraiture and active in Cleveland, Ohio.
There is another artist, Alxander Vago, (Sandor in Hungarian) whose work is being confused with that of Sandor. Alex Vago was active in Connecticut and California and is identifiable by his thick, impasto palette knife pastorals. His works are signed A. Vago and not Sandor Vago. Does anyone else have information or paintings by A. Vago?
