I inherited a Julien Dupre oil on board 15"x11" of loggers returning home - horses and sleigh in snow with evergreens. It is signed in the lowerleft followed by the number 27. Did the artist paint horses in winter?

i found a print by Julien dupre entitled The White Cow. It is grayscale and is a picture of a girl milking a cow. Did the artist produce prints or could it be just a copy to sell a frame?
