I am interested to know if Mary Ran has completed her catalogue. I am interested in this artist, as I believe I have two of his paintings. I also see that he has a nephew, also a painter. At this point, I do see similarities between the uncle and my two paintings, both in style and subject matter. But I'm more familar with California landscapes than in the Eastern ones.

I am related to Edward H Potthast II (artist of Cincinnati) by marriage, the nephew of Edward Potthast of Cincinnati and New York. I am trying to make contact with Edward II's family, his children with wife Louise. Can anyone help me on this?

I purchased a Potthast few years back what I was told was a painting of New Mexico. It's small 6x8. But I have seen nothing similar? Did Potthast actually paint in New Mexico?
