ALAN SHUPTRINE  (American, 1963- )
 
A painter known for his Southern and Appalachian Mountains genre, Alan Shuptrine has extended his reputation from a renowned framemaker and water gilder to a nationally acclaimed watercolorist. His watercolors and handcrafted water gilded frames can be found throughout the Southeast in museums such as the Tennessee State Museum (Nashville), The Morris Museum of Art (Augusta, GA), The Huntsville Museum of Art (AL), New Orleans Museum of Art, Georgia Governors Mansion in Atlanta, The Swan House in Atlanta, Booth Museum of Western Art (GA), Greenville County Museum of Art (SC), Birmingham Museum of Art (AL), Montgomery Museum of Art (AL, the Hunter Museum of American Art (TN), the Gibbes   ...  Displaying 750 of 7042 characters.
