Biography Albany Howarth
A resident of Watford, England, Albany E. Howarth was an etcher and watercolorist of architectural subjects, especially churches. By 1905, he was exhibiting regularly at the London Fine Arts Society, the Royal Academy of London, and the Royal Engravers.
In 1920, he was elected an Associate of the Royal Engravers.
He worked widely in England but also traveled to France and Italy where Venice with its Doge Palace was a subject of his etching.
