Albrecht Hipszer, born in Saint Petersburg Russia on April 28 1902, died in France in August 1944.
He belonged to the Reichsverband Bildender Kuenstler Deutschlands where he was a pupil of the renowned Professor Hofer and where he met Hermine Louise Von Friedland, also a talented painter, they married on November 14, 1933 in Paris.
He painted mostly in Berlin, Paris and the south of France. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon d'Automne in 1926 and 1934 and received very favorable reviews by Andre Pascal Levis in the magazine Les Artistes d'Aujourd'hui as well as in La Revue Moderne des Arts et de la Vie. He also exhibited at the Salon des Tuileries and the Salon des Independants.
