The following biographical information has been provided by Dave Eder, grandson of a friend of the artist.
The artist was born circa 1880s, lived on Long Island, N.Y., and painted for the Saturday Evening Post. He also played the harmonica. He had a daughter by the name of Louise, who in 1920 was 15.
He was born in Braubach, Germany. He painted a picture (from memory) of his hometown as a wedding present for my parents in 1946. They still have the painting and it hangs in their living room in PA.
