Biography   Amy Brackenbury

Amy Brackenbury was born and raised on a cattle and sheep ranch in the northern Colorado foothills. She majored in art and minored in music at Colorado State University and later studied with Bob Bateman, Bob Kuhn, William Reese and David Leffel.

Her works have been exhibited for 8 years in the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art
Museum "Birds in Art" show and her art is in the permanent collection.

Living on part of the old ranch with her artist/rancher/musician husband Lars Larson, they perform western music at Cherokee Park Guest Ranch next door. Amy leads nature hikes, exploring and explaining the flora and fauna, geology and history of northern Colorado.
