Printmaker, painter. Born in Des Moines, IA on Jan. 8, 1874.
Mrs. Stone moved to Seattle in 1889. She studied at the University of Washington, Scripps College in Claremont, CA, and with Millard Sheets, John Hubbard Rich, and Ella Shepard Bush. Except for a few years in Los Angeles in the early 1930s, she lived in Seattle until her death on April 20, 1950.
