Biography Anna M. Myers
Anna M. Myers was born in Warsaw, New York. She studied with Granville Perkins and Frederick Rondel in New York City. After an extended trip to Europe where she studied with Alexis Kreyder in Paris, she returned to the United States where she settled in Castile, New York.
She was a member of the Rochester, New York Art Club and exhibited her watercolors regularly at the Society of Washington DC Artists. She worked in Florida at the turn of
the century where she used St. Augustine's Ponce De Leon Hotel as her base of operations as she captured many of the historic structures in the city in brightly rendered and accurate watercolors.
Anna M. Myers died in Rochester, New York in 1935.
