Anne Huibregtse, of Wingdale, New York, has been sculpting cows for more than 15 years. After graduating from Mount Holyoke College in 1980, Anne headed to the Islands--first visiting the Vineyard, and then helping Northampton artist Harriet Brickman build a large cement sculpture on the beach at Fisher's Island, NY. Next she did a yearlong stint on the British Isles, working with sculptor John Doubleday, studying in London and traveling.
Settling back into life on the mainland, she began foundry work and switched from primarily painting to sculpture. While becoming adept at all phases of foundry work, she began exhibiting her own sc
