Biography Aristide Papageorge
Aristide Papageorge was born in
Alexandria in 1899 and died in London 1983. He studied in a
Greek School and in a French Gymnasium in Alexandria,
Egypt. In 1920, he went to Paris to study painting in the
''Academies de la Grande Chanmiere''.
Has shown his work in one-man exhibitions and
participated in many group exhibitions:
Panhellenic Exhibitions 1939, 1973
Venice Biennale 1950, 1952
