Arthur Flory

Arthur L. Flory was active/lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio.  Arthur Flory is known for landscape and still life painting, teaching.

Biography   Arthur Flory


Arthur L. Flory- Born in Lima, Ohio August 14, 1914; died in Melrose Park 1972.  He was head of the Graphics Department and Instructor of graphics, printing and drawing at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University.  Also he was author and illustrator of children's books including Where are the Apples? (1945); Animal Mother Goose (1946); Our Daily Bread (1946) and Cow in the Kitchen (1946).

Education:
Cape Cod School of Art in MA; Philadelphia School of Industrial Art; National Academy of Design; New York State College of Ceramics.  Teachers, Henry Hensche and C.M. Harder.
