Barbara Kelley was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and then lived in the equally scenic states of Washington, Ohio, New Mexico, and California. These environments, in addition to her travels to Europe and China, provide her with visual inspiration which is expressed in her paintings, drawings and original prints.
Her work is best known for vibrant colors, abstract and strong graphic qualities. Art organization memberships include: the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the California Society of Printmakers, the Berkeley Arts Center Association, The Sebastopol Center for the Arts.
