Biography   Bartholomeus Assteyn


Bartholomeus Assteyn was the son of the painter Abraham Bartholomeus Assteyn.  He became a member of the Dordrecht Saint Luke Guild in 1631, as the successor of his father.

The painter signed B. Asstejn between 1630 and 1640.  The last of his few works, about 25 known pictures is dated 1669, the death date not known.
