Beatrice Feitshans Stanley was born in Los Angeles, CA on June 21, 1912. Beatrice studied at the Otis Art Institute. She married artist George M. Stanley in 1935 and was active in the Los Angeles art scene in the 1930s. She taught ceramics in the Los Angeles city schools and for 15 years was teacher and director of Fremont Park Arts & Crafts Center in Glendale. Remarried, she was Beatrice Eddy at the time of her death in Los Angeles in 2004.
