Biography   Ben Paulekas


Benjamin Paulekas was born in the early 20th century in Lawrence, Massachusetts and died in 2003.  He was largely self taught and developed a hard edged modernist style.

His work was exhibited at the Jordan Marsh Company.

His subject matter ranged from Provincetown and Cape Ann shore scenes to country landscapes.

He  worked at MIT and lived and painted for many years in Arlington until his death.

He was born July 1, 1915 in Lawrence, Massachusetts and died on July 26, 2004 in Arlington, Massachusetts.
