Biography   Bettie Haller


Bettie Haller is best known for her western oils, although she does paint the Texas hill country, Italian street scenes, and African wildlife.  Better known as B. Haller, Bettie has been painting professionally since she graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Advertising Art. However, she attributes all her real art training to her father, Palmer Chrisman, noted hill country and bluebonnet artist.

Bettie was born in Austin, Texas, on December 20, 1946, but grew up in Temple, Texas, and graduated from Temple High School.  Later after graduating from Texas Tech, she moved to Dallas and worked as an illustrator for the Dallas Morning News.  Following that, Bettie moved to College Station and did art   ...  Displaying 750 of 1482 characters.
