Bonomi Warren's wife, Caroline, is buried in St Mary's Church, Charlton Kings Gloucestershire. She was born in London in 1847 and was five years junior to her husband. Their first child, James, was born in the village of Outwood in Surrey in 1873 but almost immediately the family moved to Charlton Kings, near Cheltenham, where a second child, Isabella, was born the following year. By 1875 their home was at 2, Oak Villas, a rented house. A third child, Caroline, was born in 1877. They were able to afford a living-in servant.
