Biography C Jac Young
Born with the name of Charles Jacob Jung, and an etcher and painter,
he exhibited under C Jac Jung until about 1919 when he took the last name of Young. He came to the United
States around 1881 and studied in New York at the Academy of
Design with Robert Henri, Charles Yardley Turner, and Edgar Melville
Memberships included the Society of American Etchers, the
Salmagundi Club, Brooklyn Society of Etchers and the Chicago Society of Etchers.
