Born in Des Moines, IA in 1908. George was active in San Francisco in the 1930s following his studies at the CSFA under Stackpole and Maurice Sterne. At the GGIE in 1939 he contributed two statues to the decorations on Treasure Island. After the GGIE, he moved to NYC and worked in graphic arts. George died there on Sept. 18, 1955. Exh: San Francisco Art Association, 1938-40.
