Biography   Carol Gold

Carol Gold creates sleek, contemporary bronze figures and horses from her studio in Northern California. She finds inspiration from nature and world events. The 2003 US invasion of Iraq inspired her to create tranquil pieces as an "antidote to the chaos.' Gold often includes two figures in her works emphasizing the communication between the pair.

Growing up on a dairy farm in western Massachusetts, Carol Gold attended Cornell University and earned an MA from the Boston University School of Fine Arts. She also attended the Museum School in Boston. In 1968 her family moved to California.
