Charles Bowman Hutchins, the artist who painted Mountain Pines, was my father. He was born in Seattle, Washington Territory, on October 3, 1889. He died of a brain hemorrhage near Snoqualmie, Washington in 1955. He was married to Helen Emily Owen of San Antonio, Texas, [my mother] and had 4 children by her: my brother Charles B.
