The following biographical information has been provided by Zorikh Lequidre, the son of the artist.
He was born in 1935 in Paris France and grew up in Brittany. He attended Ecole des Beax-Arts and his career ran from the late 1950's to the early 1970's. He served two years in the French navy where he got out of doing any real work by painting for the officer's mess. He preferred to paint in acrylics rather than oils, and would layer gesso on the canvas in the shape of his image before starting to paint. He also used pencil, pen & ink, and even coffee stains as media. His landscapes, especially seascapes of Brittany were in great demand, but he preferred doing nudes and portraits that revealed the
