Cora Lillian Howard Keagle was born in California in the San Joaquin Valley on October 29, 1877. Cora was a school teacher in Tulare County for many years. She married Australian Kenneth Keagle about 1915 and settled in Pixley, CA where she became a cultural leader. She died there on September 29, 1949.
