David Lewis Clark (December 28, 1888 – October 25, 1944)
Artist and sign painter. Born in North Carolina, the son of Amelia Elizabeth Kennedy (1858 – 1922) and William Franklin Clark (1855 – 1896), and the grand-nephew of the listed painter, David Lowery Clark (1824 – 1915). He was working as an advertising artist in High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina in 1910 and in 1920 he was working as a salesman. By 1940 he is listed in the census s living in High Point as a sign painter. He died of a heart attack in 1944 and was buried in Oakwood Cemete
