Biography Diane Dandeneau
A native of Michigan, she became a painter specializing in architectural ruins, having been inspired by a visit to Chaco Canyon in New Mexico.
She excelled in art in high school. After graduation, she moved to Texas and then to New Mexico where she attended college, studying both art and business. In 1988, she started her own computer business, but re-focused her energy the next year after visiting Chaco Canyon for the first time and becoming enchanted with the architecture of its ancient ruins. From 1997, she has painted full time.
