A prominent Canadian painter, printmaker, draftsman and educator, Donald Harvey was born in Walthamstow, England, immigrated to Canada in 1958, and has lived in Victoria, British Columbia since 1961. He was a Professor at the University of Victoria for over three decades, his biography has been in the Canadian Who’s Who since 1981, and his works are in several museum collections including the National Gallery of Canada.
