Dooley Dionysius was active/lived in California, Missouri.  Dooley Dionysius is known for Painter, illustrator, craftsperson, writer.

Biography   Dooley Dionysius

Born in St Louis, Missouri on June 17, 1907, Dionysius graduated from the St Louis School of Fine Arts in 1925.  While a resident of Los Angeles in 1930-40, he worked in the art department of Disney Studios, and was the author-illustrator of Black Opal and Mother Goose Rhymes.   His subject matter was mostly taken from mythology and fairy tales.

He was a resident of Kirkwood, Missouri until his demise on Oct. 12, 1996.
