Born in Jersey City, NJ on Sept. 23, 1905. Janson studied at Iowa State College, University of Florida, and with Henry C. Plymouth. She was a resident of Los Angeles (1934), NYC/Santa Fe (1940), and Marianna, FL from 1947 until her demise in November 1984. A specialist in wild flower illustrations, she also illustrated the Boy Scouts Handbook and Atlas of Anatomy of Domestic Animals. Exh: NM Museum, 1929, 1931; LA Co.
