Edward Camp Day

Edward Camp Day was active/lived in California, Hawaii.  Edward Day is known for painting.

Biography   Edward Camp Day

Born in Hawaii on July 4, 1908.  At age seven Day moved with his family to San Rafael, CA.  He studied at the CSFA and graduated from UC Berkeley in 1931.  He taught art at Tamalpais School for Boys (1933-39) and then at San Rafael High School until his death on Aug. 13, 1962.  Working in oil, watercolor, and pastel, he produced portraits, landscapes, and still lifes.  He never sold his paintings, but gave them to friends as gifts. 

Member:  Marin Society of Artists.
