Born in England in March 1863. Scott was active in San Francisco in the 1890s. While working as a hostler, he painted in his leisure. His last years were spent in Long Beach, CA. He died there on Jan. 27, 1926. His rare works include portraits and cityscapes. His view of the Officer's Club at Fort Mason hangs there.
