Born in St Cloud, MN on Nov. 23, 1885. Fritz grew up and attended high school in St Cloud. She began painting at the turn of the century. She studied with Vanderpoel at the AIC, Arthur Dow in NYC, Hans Hofmann and Eugen Neuhaus at UC Berkeley. During the 1930s she taught in the public schools of Fort Worth and Corsicana, TX while spending summers in Los Angeles and Laguna Beach. In the latter she was a pupil of Anna Hills and often accompanied her on painting expeditions. Member: Fort Worth AA; LA AA. In: Nash School (Fort Worth).
