A sculptor, craftsperson, and painter, she was born in Harport, Armenia, and studied in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
She emigrated to the United States and lived in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she taught in the public schools and Massachusetts Normal Art School.
She was a pupil of Philip Hale and Ernest Major, and her work is in the monastery of San Lazzari in Venice, Italy.
