Elizabeth W. Busch was active/lived in Ohio.  Elizabeth Busch is known for painter, lithographer, screenprinter.

Biography   Elizabeth Busch

Elizabeth Busch was born in 1897. She studied at the Stout Institute, Menomonie, Wisconsin and at the Dayton Art Institute. She was active as a lithographer during the 1940s, entering contests and winning prizes in Ohio as well as in West Virginia.

Busch worked in the WPA style, and her original lithograph shows a group of artists working on a Sunday, her style reminiscent of John deMartelly, Georges Schreiber, George "Pop" Hart, Adolph Dehn and other great artists of the period.

Submitted January 2005 by a researcher at the Ashworth Collection of Native American and Western Art in Fort Smith, ARK.
