Ellen Maria Levett/Ladell/White
Born to George Levett of Woodbridge and Maria Wells of Framlingham in the last quarter of 1853 in Ipswich, her father was a smith and machine minder, she was one of at least 5 surviving siblings.
She married Edward Ladell in Yarmouth in the 4th quarter of 1878, it was his second marriage and he would have been 57 and Ellen 25, they were together for 8 years before Edward died in 1886. They had one child Kenwyn, born in the 1st. quarter of 1879 at Newton Abbot, Devon.
Three years after Edwards death, Ellen remarried in the spring of 1889, George Turner White in Exeter; he was the Divisional Superintendent of South West Railways.
