Biography Eugene Bischoff
From Germany, Eugene Bischoff became the Art Director of Vermont Gravure in 1941 in Bennington, Vermont. He had studied in New York at the Art Students League, the Pratt Institute, and also took classes at the California School of Fine Art in San Francisco. He spent many summers in Taos, New Mexico. His first arrival time there is unknown, but a painting by him of the Governor of the Taos Pueblo is dated 1937.
