Biography Eugenie Worman
Eugenie Worman was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and studied at the Pratt
Institute, NY from 1902 - 1905. From 1907-1908 she taught drawing
and applied design at Huckley Manual Training School in Muskegon,
From 1908-1917, Worman taught art at Franklin High School in Seattle,
and from 1919-1943 was Associate Faculty Member of the University of
Washington where she was Design Instructor. She was also one of
the pioneering studio ceramic artists in Washington State.
Her oil painting, Still Life, in the collection of the Seattle
Art Museum, won First prize at the 17th Annual of Northwest Artists in
