Biography   Fanny Edgerton

Born in Illinois on Oct. 1, 1878. Edgerton moved to northern California in 1890. She studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute and with William M. Chase in Carmel. She taught in the public schools of northern California until her death in Red Bluff on Nov. 24, 1920. She was a cousin and painting partner of artist Mary Amanda Lewis.
