Biography Felix Parra
Félix Parra, originally from Morelia, studied at the Academy of San Carlos with Clavé, Urruchi and Rebull. He specialized in the genre of historical painting and performed important works such as Fray Bartolomé de las Casas (1876) and A Scene of the Conquest (1877). After presenting that last work, he traveled to study in Europe where he stayed for five years. On his return to Mexico he was a professor at the academy.
