Feodor von Luerzer (1851-1913) was an Austrian-born landscape painter who immigrated to the United states in 1886. He worked briefly in Milwaukee and Cleveland before settling in Duluth. Late in his career he spent a year in California and the last four years of his life he lived in Spokane and nearby Coeur D'Alene, Idaho.
