Born in Baltimore, MD on May 24, 1907. At age two Florence came to Berkeley where her father, George Stratton, had founded the psychology department at UC. She received her B.A. degree there in 1929 and continued her studies in Paris at Académie Julian. During the 1930s she worked as a fashion artist for I. Magnins in San Francisco. In 1945 she married Albert Reinke and lived in Berkeley until her death on March 17, 1991. Member: Carmel AA.
