Frances Sanborn Baldwin was born in San Francisco, CA on Oct. 18, 1907. Baldwin studied at the CSFA under Otis Oldfield and Spencer Macky, ASL in NYC, Mills College under Fernand Léger, and with Maurice Sterne and Mark Rothko.
A spinster, she died in San Francisco on Aug. 7, 1999.
